Applications for winter engagement funding closed on Monday 12 December 2022
Are you running an event or activity supporting people to stay healthy this winter? Funding is available to support you.
The NHS is offering funding to local community and voluntary organisations and groups to run an activity or event, which supports their community to stay healthy and well.
Due to the short timescales, we anticipate this will be something you’re already organising – the funding could help cover some of the costs, enable you to increase the size of an event, or offer refreshments or activities to incentivise people to attend. Alternatively, you can apply for some vouchers to share with attendees where it would support local communities to stay healthy and well.
We are open to ideas about different types of events or activities. In order for us to offer funding, the event or activity will need to make information available about vaccinations as well as signposting to local services – including cost of living support and mental health services. Colleagues from the NHS could lead this or we can work with a community leader or member of the group to host the talk or discussion.
In addition, organisations must be able to demonstrate they have safeguarding and health and safety measures in place.
A maximum of £500 is available per organisation.
