Kooth, provided by the NHS in south west London, is a free online platform providing anonymous advice and support for emotional or mental health problems, giving instant access to free help in a safe environment.
Because users do not have to provide their names, support can be given to people who might not seek help through their GP. Access to Kooth is immediate.
It is open to all young people aged between 11 and 25, and can be accessed using a laptop, smartphone or tablet device.

Children and young people can have one-on-one online sessions with qualified counsellors and therapists, from noon until 10pm on weekdays and from 6pm until 10pm at weekends, 365 days a year. These can be booked in advance or accessed via drop-in instant text-based chats.
